HURRICANE SANDY RELIEF EFFORTS
SPECIAL THANKS TO MIKE GRABOWSKI, STEPHAN ALBRECHT,
SAL STARACE, JESSICA HOCK, MELISSA RUPPERT, MARTIN GRILLO AND , JON MIUTA
AND RYAN GUNNING.

IMMEDIATELY POST STORM THESE INDIVIDUALS MADE OVER 100 TRIPS TO THE
AREAS AFFECTED BY HURRICANE SANDY.  THEY DELIVERED FOOD, CLOTHES, WATER
AND HYGIENE ITEMS TO THOSE AFFECTED.

THESE INDIVIDUALS ALSO WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND.  THEY DELIVERED MEDICAL
EQUIPMENT, FIRE EQUIPMENT, PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT , EVEN
AMBULANCES TO THOSE DEPARTMENTS THAT LOST EVERYTHING.  

SPECIAL THANKS TO ASSEMBLYMAN MIKE MILLER AND STAFF MEMBER DORIE
FIGLIOLA FOR THE USE OF THEIR FACILITY AND ALL THEIR HELP.

THE GVAC MEMBERS WERE ALSO RESPONSIBLE FOR CUTTING DOWN OVER 50 PLUS
TREES OPENING UP ROADWAYS FOR EMERGENCY VEHICLES.  OUR MEMBERS
RESCUED PEOPLE FROM CARS AND HOUSES AND PROVED ONCE AGAIN. THAT THE
GLENDALE VOLUNTEER AMBULANCE CORPS IS THE BEST.

WITH ASSEMBLYMAN MILLERS OFFICE.
WE WERE ABLE TO RAISE OVER 1200 TOYS FOR THESE AREAS.
SPECIAL THANKS TO THE GIRL SCOUTS TOO AND BROWNIE SCOUT BROOKE WHO
HELPED DELIVER OVER 600 TOYS IN BROAD CHANNEL AND ROXBURY.
